A scaffolding is a structure that is used by the construction workers when working at heights. From repairs to renovation or any other construction works, a scaffold tower is considered as one of the essential safety equipments in the construction industry. However, today several reputable companies have come up with a wide variety of scaffolding types such as A-frame, aluminium, mobile scaffolding and so more. Here in this post, I would like to explore a few pointers that show how is mobile scaffolding different from the aluminium scaffold. Mobile scaffolding is such a type of structure which is supported with the help of wheels and castors so that it can be moved from one place to another without much effort. In fact, mobile scaffolding is considered to be best suitable for painting big houses and structures, plastering, tiling, emergency repairs, theatrical performances, mobile stairways for aircraft, normal building sites and the list goes on.
Further speaking about mobile scaffolding, they turn out to be an inexpensive portable platform used in numerous scaffolding training in Perth these days. Now here I would like to mention a few control measures to take into account while erecting a mobile scaffolding. - Construct the tower scaffold with modular, frame/ tube. - Whether you are using a mobile or aluminium scaffold, make sure to locate it on the firm level ground with the feet and wheels. - Reduce the height to the base ratios - Make sure that the internal ladder is free of supporting surface - Lock the wheels before you erect the tower and start working - Don't forget to install the guard rails, mid rails and toe boards on the working platforms. Whether you choose to work with aluminium scaffolding or the mobile one, make sure you choose experts who have gone through proper scaffolding training in Perth to deliver promising results.

So finally you have bought your very first aluminium scaffold tower for your construction works. Well, Congratulations! But now what? You can either think of consulting a professional who can guide you in assembling as well as dissembling or keep reading the post that acts a short guide for the first time users. Before you start erecting the tower, things to consider :
Erecting of the Aluminium Scaffold : Step 1 Select a secure foundation Try using mud sills or base plates to attach the scaffold for making the foot more stable. In case, you find the ground uneven you can dig down to level it up accordingly. Step 2 Opt for castors Apart from the aluminium scaffold there are several other scaffold towers available such as mobile scaffold which comprises of castors and wheels and can be moved from one space to another. But do remember to lock the castor once it gets in its place. Step 3 Start assembling First, Lay out the ends of the scaffold. Lift one piece first and attach the upper cross brace and then lift the second piece and do the same. Secure the both ends and you are ready to go. Step 4 Place the planks and attach the guardrails Lift the planks through the aluminium scaffold bars into place and fasten the planks into place. After that don't forget to attach the guardrails, so that you have better protection. So this is it! For more information and updates, keep an eye on this space! |
